The Edgar Townhouse is a family run guesthouse in the centre of Bath. The hotel is located close to the city centre and is only 10 minutes walk from the Roman Baths.The Edgar Townhouse is privately owned and the proprietors aim to offer good clean accommodation at an affordable price in the centre of Bath. The property has been converted to 18 comfortable bedrooms which all have ensuite with shower (one room has a bath), colour television and tea and coffee making facilities. Throughout the city the honey coloured stone buildings are built in tiered ranks, crescents, parades and squares are interspersed by spaces, which sympathetically link buildings and landscape. The best way to start your visit to Bath is to go to the Roman Baths for a tour and then the Pumps room for tea. You can then visit the Abbey and continue up to the Circus and Royal Crescent. Bath caters for all tastes from the famous Sally Lunn teashop to five star and Michelin rated restaurants. The guesthouse does not have a porter or a lift. Residents parking Permits are available for 8 for the duration of your stay. We would advise you to travel to Bath by public transport where possible.We do not accept stag, hen or groups.
