Pros (+) If it weren't for the location, view, and staff, I would have felt ripped off. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Bodega Bay. Our room had a balcony with an ocean view. The staff was extremely friendly.
Cons (-) The rooms simply need to be updated. Everything in the room was either old and/or visibly dirty. The pillow cases were not clean. The ironing board was filthy. Dry rot visible in the bathroom. The sliding glass door needed lots of muscle and patience to open. The smoke detector was covered with a plastic bag? If it weren't for the location, view, and friendly staff, I'd be pissed paying $200/night...
