Thanet House was built in 1884 as part of the Alum Chine Estate. Originally the mill owners family home it stood on open heath land. The mill no longer remains but the beautiful woodland chine has been preserved and laid with footpaths offering a picturesque walks to the beach and cliff top.Our home is your home and we believe your stay should be as comfortable as possible. Our three double rooms, two twin room and our family suiteall have en-suite bathrooms. Our single room has a private bathroom. Every room is equipped with a large LCD Freeview TV, digital alarm clock, hairdryer and complimentary fairtrade tea and coffee. Free wireless internet is available throughout the house and you are also invited to borrow books and DVDs from our own collection. (Sorry but we dont have facilities for pets).
