The hotel was built in 1932 by the initiative of Mr Veerburgh, a Belgian citizen who fell in love with the beauty of Cala D'Or.The original construction was only one building and only had 9 rooms.During the Spanish Civil War the hotel was converted into a militar headquarters, housing the officers who were serving in the battle and installed at the old arab fort at the entrance to Cala Llonga.When the war finished the hotel returned to its original destiny and after various renovations during the sixties, it underwent a complete restoration in 1987.Now it has all types of luxuries of a modern hotel and together with all its charm through the years of its construction.
