It has hosted a variety of social events including marriage retreats, weddings from four to one hundred people, family reunions and even bridge clubs. For the Summer of 2000 the backyard opened for outdoor weddings and other events. The home and porches can comfortably accommodate 100 for an indoor wedding and reception or other events.
