The front desk staff was very, very Nice. Very refreshing for a non-corporate motel establishment.

Pros:The inn is cute and clearly a small local business with lots of care put into the plants and art. It is very charming. The bed was comfortable, and it was pretty close to town.
Cons:It wasn’t the cleanest place I’ve been. I several times found other people’s hair in the towels and washcloths. The front desk staff was not friendly (the housekeeping staff were great). Not rude, just not friendly. There were also signs up that were pretty unwelcoming—for example the pool door was covered with rules and threats about what they would do if you broke them. I expect they have a problem with non-guests using the facility, but for actual guests, the effect was off putting. The inn is right across from the freeway and a short drive from town and the beach, so not bad, but not a terribly interesting location. For a cheap stay, it was good, but it would have been much improved by better laundering of towels and some thought about the signage and the staff interactions.

Pros:Clean enough, affordable enough, wifi was good enough to watch YouTube at 480p. Pretty convenient location in a decent area.
Cons:Our window latch was broken so we couldn't lock the window. No biggy in our case. But some might find that disconcerting.

Pros:I didn't like anything. The internet priced it $20. more than the sign hanging outside the motel.
Cons:The bed smelled like pee or butt...a mixture of it. We left after being there for only a couple hours...drove back home 3 hours away with no sleep because the smell was disgusting. The television had really bad quality picture and sound.
