La Pergola holiday homes are located in the Tuscan countryside, about 380 metres above sea level, within a peaceful area, on a gently sloping hillside, which offers a splendid panorama of the surrounding woods. Casole d’Elsa , a small medieval village of Etruscan origin, is located 3 kilometres away; it is a member of the Orange Flags association, a standard for eco-environmental quality of the Italian Touring Club. All the major sites of cultural interest in Tuscany are easily reachable: San Gimignano, Volterra, the Chianti Hills, Siena, Florence and Pisa.
La Pergola includes 24 villas or apartments, for 2 to 6/7 persons. are situated among the olive trees, within a park like area of 22 acres and are ideally suitable for guests preferring independent holidays at family prices.
Apartments type A: for 2 persons, living-dining room with open plan kitchen, one bedroom (double or twin), bath or shower room.
Apartments type B: for 4 persons, living-dining room with separate or open plan kitchen, 2 bedrooms (double or twin), bath or shower room.
Apartments type C: for 6/7 persons, living-dining room with separate or open plan kitchen, 3 bedrooms (double or twin),2 bath rooms (tub, shower).
Apartments type D: for 6/7 persons, similar in structure to type C, but with private swimming pool (10 x 5 metres) and parking, shared by only 2 apartments.
The buildings are old farmhouses, which have been entirely restored and furnished in a simple, but very comfortable way. They are all equipped with kitchen (hob only), cooking utensils, bedroom and kitchen linen, bath towels (weekly change), free satellite TV (English, French, German, Dutch and Spanish channels). Types C and D are equipped with washing machine, free of charge. Types A and B use a shared machine, at an additional charge.
All have their own patio or terrace, and access to the gardens. There is ample off the road parking, free and guaranteed for every apartment.
La Pergola is equipped with 2 outdoor swimming pools, one for adults (12 x 6 metres), one for children (4 x 3 metres).
Moreover, all the free services and facilities of Hotel Aquaviva, (same management), situated at only 300 metres from the apartments: one covered and heated swimming pool (13 x 10 metres); one outdoor pool for adults (12 x 7 metres), one baby splash pool, waterfalls, heated indoor whirlpool, fully equipped fitness room. At an additional charge: wellness centre (including steam bad, hot & cold shower, Kneipp parcours, Finnish sauna, UV solar shower), massages, mountain bike rental, babysitter for children, restaurant. (half board for La Pergola guests is possible).
The reception and assistance to guests are provided every day by English speaking personnel.
Rents are per week from Saturday to Saturday. However, during low and medium saison shorter rents and arrival in weekdays, may be accepted on request.
