We are pet friendly and will do our best to also accommodate your 4 legged friends. Sorry to say we cannot accommodate cats due to a serious allergy that Julie has.The guest house is situated on the main road through the village of Castle Donington. The village is minutes from the motorways M1, M42 and the new A50 link from the M1 to the M6. East Midlands Airport and Donington racetrack are just minutes away from the guest house. The cities of Nottingham, Leicester, and Derby are only a short drive away, and the nearest train station is Long Eaton.There is a 247 bus service to and from the East Midlands Airport with a stop just 350m from our door. This service leaves on the hour and half hour.The Guesthouse is well placed to explore the East Midlands scenic villages, as well as the famous Lace Market and castle in Nottingham City. Why not stroll in Sherwood Forest and imagine the Merry Men, Maid Marion and Robin Hood.Leicestershire has many fascinating places to discover and is also in the heart of the new and growing treasure, the National Forest. Try not to leave before sampling the world famous Melton Mowbray pork pies and of course Leicestershire Blue Stilton cheese.
