Location was great and the room was clean
The room seems to be in disrepair with many minor maintenance issues needed. Missing electrical socket cover, bent towel rod and broken curtain sliders.
The staff was great and super helpful. The rooms were very clean and well stocked.
The outside of the building was run down.

Beds were comfy and staff was great
I took my daughters and a friend to Chicago to attend the One Direction, 5SOS concert at Soldier Field. I was honestly quite nervous about the trip. I knew the hotel was going to be extremely crowded and expected a chaotic Saturday from afternoon and into the night. Luckily I was able to book a plan that included on site self parking which was very convenient. Upon entrance into the lobby for check in, there was a lot going on and many people. The staff was very friendly and efficient and we were up on our room much quicker than anticipated. The room was nice. We were on the 11th floor in the North Tower. The view was not spectacular, but definitely not terrible. The beds were very comfortable, pillows were fluffy, but never aggravated my sensitive neck. The toilet was in a small closet size room inside the bathroom, which allowed sharing of the bathroom for girls doing makeup. Nice sized room and television. The iPod dock and plugs came in very handy. We had free Wi-Fi which was also popular with teen girls. There were restaurants, but the girls wanted to wait until after the concert to eat in, so we were able to walk to a nearby McDonald's for a quick pre-concert meal. Loved that they provided us with a map to Soldier Field. The walk was about a mile, but very nice and so much more convenient than taking transportation or attempting to drive. There was no time for the pool, but it looked nice. The girls were able to go in the fitness room for a bit and were quite impressed. There was some noise, but honestly not bothersome; especially knowing the hotel was packed with so many girls of various ages all there for One Direction/ 5SOS. I expected so much more noise! Check out once again went very quick considering the amount of people in the line. This was overall a very nice stay. Would love to return when we can stay longer and get a better feel of the hotel and what it has to offer. Definitely a beautiful and comfortable get away place that we plan to visit again.
Did not like the fact that at least one restaurant was not open later for after the concert food. We should have checked beforehand, instead of assuming. Did not want to take the car out and drive and were not familiar with the area anyway. Ended up ordering Papa John's delivery. There were some stray hairs here and there along table surfaces and counter space, but no huge deal. Just grossed teenage girls out. LOL. I wasn't too excited that the bathroom had no exhaust fan and expected a steamy after shower bathroom experience, however ended up pleasantly surprised that that was not the case. Did not like the location for going out to get a look at late night Chicago life. We went out walking after the concert and eating as the girls really wanted to get a feel of late night, busy Chicago. We definitely found that this was not the best area for this, quite a lengthy walk resulting in blisters galore and giving up. : ) But the easy to and from Soldier Field was great!!

Awesome location, little nice cafe/bar attached to the hotel ( good breakfast). Clean. Good service.
$52 per night valet parking is not the cheapest option and definitely not reasonable ( as stated in hotel description). However, valet service is fast.
A little outdated. Parking fees are double compared to other garages.

You would not cancel my reservation. It is not by the Chicago Midway airport. It cost me time and money to get there. I wanted to stay near the Chicago Midway airport. I didn't want to waste 3 hours Traveling to and from the hotel.
The restaurant was clean and breakfast food was good. The hotel staff at the check in, bell hop, and concierge were wonderful. The fitness facility was awesome.
My room was dirty for me liking. I think the charge for the fitness facility was rediculous after the price I paid for the room. The South Loop area is a tad rundown for my liking.

The room we had was amazing. The view was amazing. The hotel itself was amazing.
The lady who checked us in was very very rude, we booked 2 double beds a month I'm advance and she leads to tell me that we did not. We told her that we wanted 2 queen beds and she lies and says there aren't any rooms available with the bed arrangement we want. When I pull out the paper and show her the we had 2 queen beds, she goes to talk to another person and than a room that fits what we wanted magically appears. Other than this ridiculous incident all of the other staff was very very nice. Avoid checking in with the African-American girl with braces.
The room was comfortable and updated. There was an employee who listened to me (Iesha) and displayed professionalism and good customer service when there was a HUGE error in the room reservation on the part of Kayak/Get a Room. Lobby was inviting,
The hotel forced me to upgrade my room and pay more per night due to the reservation made through Kayak/Get a Room which did not secure 2 double beds for 4 people. They contract with Kayak but you still need to call the hotel directly to be sure you are receiving the room you requested. Does not make sense to contract if you still need to call them directly. They did not clean the room during the stay unless asked directly.

The hotel rooms were not as pictured. There was mold in the Windows and a TWO inch gap between the door and the floor. The beds were uneven. There were stains on the carpet and both chairs in the room. The elevator that took us to our room on the NINTH floor was very old and slow. It took at least 45 seconds to get from the lobby to the ninth floor. The only great thing about this hotel is the lobby. I will never stay here again!
Nothing. Very run down hotel.
Cancelled one night of my stay before the 48 hour time frame. Hotel nor Kayak would reimburse me. Will not use either place again.

The price...it increased $70 in less than 90 minutes to a ridiculous amount. The room smelled like a toilet disinfectant. The smell was so bad I had to sleep with the windows open. The bed slats broke in the middle of the night, so I slept in the large canyon in the middle of the mattress. The shower was warm (not hot) and had NO pressure. It was a terrible experience.
From our room we could hear the train going by every 15 minutes
