The Inn at Arrowhead is a Rocky Mountain Colorado lodge/resort that's run like a cozy Bed and Breakfast--with a Celtic twist! Based at an altitude of 9,500 feet, in a remote location (the closest town with shops, restaurants and entertainment in either direction is 35 miles), and after driving five and a half miles up the mountain on a dirt road, you'll find the Inn at Arrowhead nestled in the trees and surrounded by wildlife. (Elk, deer and bear sightings are common.) We offer a dining room that seats 50 comfortably (and a full commercial kitchen where Mum does all the cooking for the Inn guests), Casey's Irish Pub with a state-of-the-art Glycol Cooled Draught Beer System that injects the right amount of gases to pour the perfect Guinness pint at 9,500 feet, and served at the perfect temperature of 42.8 degrees, a professional DJ/Karaoke sound system and dance area, a digital projector and movie viewing area and the lobby lounge. The bedrooms are all upstairs and each room either has a King sized bed or two beds, full bath and shower and a gas fireplace. (The Bridal Suite, the largest room we have, has a private Jacuzzi tub.) There's hot tub on the upstairs deck. There are no TVs or telephones in the bedrooms, and cell phone service is sparse--but if it's a nice day, and you're lucky, you might be able to find a cell phone signal hot spot by our carved wooden bear outside. We've got a TV in the lobby lounge, as well as in Casey's Irish Pub, and for those who need to get online, we've got a computer station and high speed wireless Internet. There's lots to do at the Inn: hike, mountain bike, fish, visit the largest body of water in Colorado (Blue Mesa) or dare the two thousand foot drops of the Black Canyon, and visit nearby Colorado Mountain towns like Crested Butte, Ouray (and its hot springs) or Telluride. So come on up where the air is fresh, the mountains high and the Guinness is poured with cool altitude.
