We are happy to cater for vegetarians and coeliacs and assist with other dietary requirements upon request.
We are ideally located to explore the dramatic North Devon coast and the pretty moorland villages within the Exmoor National Park and there are a vast network of footpaths on our doorstep. The National Trust tearoom at Watersmeet offers a welcome rest for those walking the riverside path from Brendon to Lynmouth. Local horseriding establishments and a cycle hire shop afford visitors the opportunity to appreciate the scenery from another perspective.
Within a short drive is the Doone Valley, made famous by the novel, Lorna Doone, the pretty towns of Lynton and Lynmouth, connected by an historic cliff railway, and the moorland villages of Malmsmead, Oare, Exford, Dulverton and Dunster. The seaside towns of Porlock, Minehead, Combe Martin, Ilfracombe, Croyde and Woolacombe are all within an hour's drive.
