,staff was great, helpful, friendly, room was very clean, and if one needed supplies, they would make sure you got it.
Everything was great, would come back again, and tell everyone what a nice stay we had.
Staff, rooms, and facilities were great. The beds were really comfortable. They weren't out of food by the time we made it to breakfast either.
It was very good hotel as per price and located in center of city which is best place to live and easy to transport from all point of interest that is wind cave, jewel cave, mt rushmore and crazy horse mountain.
Liked everything about it! Clean, quiet, staff...
Clean, pleasant hotel. One exceptionally helpful and friendly staff member made up for the otherwise poorly trained members of staff.
The hotel was a little overwhelmed by what I assume was an extremely busy period, the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. I think a lot of the staff is still not fully trained, and the internet was way over capacity.
This hotel was perfectly located, clean, new, well managed and a great place to stay.
The breakfast was well stocked, the staff very friendly
the pool was really cloudy and the air quality in the pool space was not very well ventilated.
We liked everything!
Location is the best!!! Close to everything!
Clean room, comfy bed and nice staff members.
Breakfast was good. Pool and exercise room were nice.
Side door needs to be fixed. We had a room close to the door. It was loud, waking us up when used.
Staff was awesome, beds were comfortable, breakfast had a big selection, was great
The room wasn't as clean as I'd prefer
The pool, hot tub and exercise equipment. Breakfast was fantastic!
We were put in a handicapped room. We had a blinking light, no remote in exercise room for TV. The internet service wasn't very good - very intermittent. No restaurants within walking distance.
easy to find
put us in room next to ice machines where door lock key cards didn't work so put us in another room
We love the location, friendly staff and breakfast.
We checked in on a Sunday afternoon and were told the pool heater was not working and would be fixed on Monday. It was Thursday before the pool was usable and the indoor pool was the reason we booked this hotel. Definitely not what we paid for.
Spacious and clean room.
Nice hotel, great reception, fun town. Rm 110 was clean, spacious and close to breakfast!
No complaints about the room or staff. I only booked one night. the location was good for my itinerary.
The hotel was great. I've never stayed at a Comfort Inn before. My only complaint is that the term Suite has apparently changed. All the rooms that at Suites are simply large rooms with kitchenettes. I was expecting a separate bed room. Other than that, it was great. Did not like that the windows do not have shears. Not good especially when you are on the ground floor and want some natural light. It was really close to Crazy Horse Memorial, which was amazing. No printer in the business center, which was literally a cubby hole off the hallway; no door.
I specifically asked for a NON smoking room with 2 double beds (I had my 3 kids with me). I made the reservartion at the hotel. The next day, I went to check in, and I was given a ?handicapped room? with only 1 king sized bed. The room REEKED of cigarette smoke. I told the clerk about the error. I told her that the room was not what I requested. She proceeded to tell me that there were no other rooms available, except for a suite, which would cost me about $20 more. I asked if I would be charged the lower rate, and she said only if I had a ?confirmation page,? that the man should have given me the night before. I was given nothing, and she said it was 'my responsibility' to get the form before I left. I asked, 'what if I did it over the phone, then I wouldn't have a confirmation page?' She was clueless and silent. It was Deadwood motorcycle weekend, and all rooms in Custer were full. I was forced to get the suite, and the rude woman refused to wait on me, so a nice, young girl took...
Originally, I was booked at another hotel in Custer; however, the accomodations were not as advertised, so we decided to stay at Comfort Suites in Custer. It was above any expectations I could have had for a hotel. From the point of check in to check out, everything was perfect. The staff was professional and friendly. The price was very reasonable. There were a lot of choices in the continental breakfast, especially the homemade waffles, which were excellent! The pool was well maintained and good size. We especially enjoyed watching all of the deer that were within view of the hotel. There were several fun things to do and see within walking distance. I will definitely be back again!!
We really enjoyed our stay. The service was outstanding! Room was clean and modern. The bed was great, we regret not asking where to buy the pillows! Awesome down pillows (they didn't even bother our severe allergies). The breakfast was unbelievable-waffles, cereal, bagels, boiled eggs, donuts, toast, fresh fruit, milk, juice, coffee, tea, etc. They were very quick to refill also. I can't say enough. We didn't have time for the pool, but it looked nice.
Comfortable and clean and a nice free continental breakfast.
