The view! This hotel was exactly what we expected, cheap, rustic and wonderful! Clean, friendly staff, spectacular view, great pool! Close to everything in estes park and there is a rode to a family friendly path right out the backdoor.
The bed was really comfortable!
The wi-fi signal was not strong, it was very outdated & no coffe pot in the room
The location and price.
NoThe hotel was going through what appeared to be fairly major, long term renovation when we were there. The staff were very friendly, and helpful. The room we were in was a little small, but nice. We enjoyed the retro look they have. The location was nice, right on the highway. When we go to Estes Park next time, we will be looking at Coyote Mountain Lodge.
The room was comfortable - great bed. It was very warm when I checked in and I couldn't get the A/C to work. There was a fold-in window which cooled it down later in the evening. Otherwise, OK. There are no eating places within walking distance.
Location and easy to get to rooms !
NopeGot there check in was kinda long but A bunch of bikers from down under was ahead of me and only one clerk but it went rather smooth LOL the location is kinda out of town but good nice and quiet room was great all was good I will sure stay here again staff was great ! Place is kinda old but updated and there is hardly any sound coming through the walls great place to stay
Clean and quite
No breakfastClean and quite rooms but NO breakfast
Good location for what we planned to do. Front desk staff was very friendly and showed us around the grounds since our rooms weren't quite ready because we arrived earlier than expected. The room had been updated and was very comfortable. We would stay here again if we are ever in Estes Park again.
Estes park is like a hidden Jem awesome weather in summer, amidst Rocky Mountain.
Very country style motel. Not my taste but for the money in this beautiful Rockies it is very good value.I wish they had complimentary breakfast and just a bit bigger room!
The location, the ambiance, the view from the room, the layout of the room, the friendly staff, the cleanses and the price.
A mini fridge in the room may be a good addition to keep snacks and beverages, but they provided plenty of ice to keep our cooler chilled. This hotel is in walking distance to the town and river walk, biking trails, kayaking, restaurants, visitor's center, shopping and golf. Has a vintage/old school Estes Park lodging vibe. Not corporate cookie cuttered lodging, but with so much Colorado mountain charm. Has a pool kept at 81 and hot tub at 104 degrees F, which were great after hikes and biking. Rooms have view of mountains on both sides. Plenty of hot water showers. Quiet environment. Wifi and cable to veg-out before sleep. Coffee ready early in the morning at the spacious, comfy lounge. Staff so friendly and accommodating. Well priced; a jewel in Estes Park.
The staff was excellent and very helpful. It has a great location in Estes Park and views of mountains.
The room we stayed in had no phone, no hair dryer and a very small bathroom. A breakfast would be nice! The owners are very eager to please and appear to be working hard to upgrade this older motel. They did bring us a hair dryer when we asked for one. The room was very clean and well cared for.
