The lodge is situated on 280 sunny hillside acres, 15 minutes from Fairbanks. Massive spruce trees were logged from the homestead and crafted into the unique structure of A Taste of Alaska Lodge. The 7,000 square foot natural log building, completed in 1995, is decorated with antiques and Alaskan collectibles. In 1947 Walter and Dorothy Eberhardt homesteaded the original 160 acres and developed the land for farming. Walter continues to farm it today at age 89. BedandBreakfast.com
