Pros (+) Eva, the owner, was competent and remedied a wrongful situation. She did process the return quickly. However, I would have liked to see something extra to make me feel made whole.
Cons (-) When I checked in, I had pre-paid through booking through an app called “Snap Travel” that Kayak referrer me to. Despite showing the check-in clerk three forms of payment receipt through the app, she took my card from my hand and charged it without my permission to pay again directly through the hotel. Pros (+) It was clean and inexpensive. Beds were comfortable. Desk clerk was very friendly. Gave us a parking spot since we checked in so late.
