The Fitzgerald House Bed & Breakfast was built in 1885. A few years later Patrick Fitzgerald, a livery stable owner and politician, bought the house. He was responsible for a major remodel and the addition of the Queen Anne Victorian features. The house was remodeled starting in 1990.
Today the Fitzgerald House Bed & Breakfast is the only bed & breakfast in the South County area. There are three rooms each with its own bath. Each room is tastefully decorated with antiques as well as modern amenities including air conditioners, TV and a wireless internet connection. A full breakfast is served daily. Guests can enjoy homemade scones and breakfast entrees in the antique filled dining room or on the porch where they can watch humming birds.
