The five en-suite bedrooms are in a newly refurbished self contained unit that used to be The Pitmans Arms public house, before it closed in the late 1900s. Each room is furnished to a high standard in the character of a country farmhouse. A separate bathroom is available for anyone who prefers to soak in the bath after a long day's walking. Water is heated by solar panels and provides plenty of hot water for baths and showers. Farmhouse breakfasts, including a vegetarian option, are served in the double dining room. The large lounge with its black-range fireplaces, TV, DVD and childrens games are available for guests use at any time. Guests can relax outside on the stone flagged patio area. A laundry and boot drying room is available for our guests' convenience, as we are in a fantastic walking Our three 4 star self-catering holiday cottages were previously miners smallholdings and still have many of the original features,open fires, beamed ceilings and walled gardens.
