Rockcliffe Mansion (visit our website) is a massive historic Guilded-Age Grand Residence listed on the National Register of Historic Places overlooking the Mississippi River and the Town of Hannibal, MO. It was built between 1898 and 1900 by lumber baron John J. Cruikshank. Most of the original antique furnishings and fixtures are preserved. The Mansion is filled with rich Mahogany, Oak and Walnut woodwork, ten grand fireplaces, magnificent Louis Comfort Tiffany stained glass windows, and the finest interior decorations from America and Europe. It has been featured in both movies and TV programs. The Mansion is an historic house musuem offerng guided tours. Bed & Breakfast accomodations are also available. Open daily - year round.
