Excellent superior first class hotel with a great location on the river and in the hub of the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race (race commences 26 December every year). Hotel rooms start on the 10th floor going up to the 20th floor. The conference centre, lobby and restaurants occupy the lower floors. Located on the waterfront in Hobart, a 10 minute walk to the city centre. Great location, very easy walk along the foreshores of the Harbour. There is a bus stop just outside the hotel, which is close to Salamanca Markets (about 10 minute walk from the hotel). Next to the hotel are the Federation Concert Hall and Ballroom, the home of the Tasmania Symphony Orchestra. One of the best hotel in Hobart. Hobart airport is approximately 20/25 minutes from the city.
