Overlooking Shenandoah National Park from 45 acres of pasture, lawns, gardens and parkland. The captivating retreat glories in views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and neighboring farms and vineyards. Tracing its roots to 1833 as a Wells Fargo stagecoach stop, the main house brims with nostalgic settings: a fire-lit entrance hall, a baronial oak hunt room with minstrel gallery, a stone wine cellar, and a charming country kitchen. Guest rooms echo the warm radiance. Luxuriously appointed Glencroft Cottage suites and spacious Gordon Mews House lend further hospitality, along with a sparkling pool and stables.As a guest of Glen Gordon Manor you will have the option of dining in the dining room of the manor house for a full four-course breakfast, or if you prefer we will send breakfast to your room. We have an extensive garden that will provide the seasonal ingredients in your breakfast, as well as fruit trees that still remain from a past orchard. We raise our own organic free range chickens for the eggs that go into the many breakfast creations. What we don’t grow ourselves we procure from local farmers as much as possible.
