Next door to the Restaurant we have the cool Cafe Bar - where some say, you get the best coffee in town! Ilfracombe is the largest coastal resort in North Devon, but that should not fool you. It is a lovely small town full of character and beauty and a fantastic base from which to explore the many delights of North Devon. The town itself has a lovely victorian beach which is accessed through tunnels, the Landmark theatre with its superb offering of shows and an award winning Aquarium. The Harbour is a jaw dropping sight with fantastic views as far as Wales on a clear summers day. The Capstone hotel is mere moments level walking distance to the attractions.
We are also at the foot of some glorious coastal walks that stretch out for miles! For the more adventurous traveler, surfing is the main sport of choice, and the beautiful surfing beaches of Woolacombe, Croyde and Saunton are close by. On warm summer days just relaxing on these beaches and watching the surfers ride the waves can be exhilirating enough.
