Since 1994, PPI has served guests at the property located on the estate of Mississippi's 2nd governor, George Poindexter. Filmmakers, writers and musicians stay at PPI. PPI is near exhibits, capitol city sites, shopping, businesses, colleges and the historic Farish St District. Blues, blueberry bread and brass beds await guests. Rooms have ceiling fans, private baths, and of course AC! Free parking is available. A smoke free inn, bicycle support from the Natchez Trace is offered. Old maps, signs, records, instruments and photo's of blues artists adorn the walls along with posters and original art. The restoration of the circa 1907 house received the Heritage Award of Merit for Residential Historic Architecture in 1997.
