The car was good, the staff was rude.

We paid over $3000 (with insurance) to have a middle class convertible car for 2 weeks. It was for my honey moon. For this price I think Sixt should be able to block high class convertibles for their clients. On the day we picked the car, the staff explained to me that they only can propose what they have in stock (in my case a Volkswagen T-ROC) and then added it’s too bad we have an Audi TT but it’s only available for 5 days… great.. next time I will look for a car rental that can “reserve” cars Other than that the drop off not at the airport (we were in Nice) is not very convenient but it’s manageable depending on your flight departure time. You would still have to pay a taxi to get to the airport, transfer the luggages etc…

Pros:

Easy same day booking through Kayak, arrived to pick up and there was no line on a Saturday, the person was polite and spoke English with us, and she upgraded us for free to a sporty Jaguar. Collecting the car and dropping it off were extremely easy.

Could not have been better--

Cons:

The drop-off was a nightmare. They insisted I had to bring back the car before 5.30 pm because I hadn’t bought extra insurance. But then the office was closed, and I had to come back the next morning... On top of it they got really rude when I complained

Pros:

Well staffed and easy to find. Car return was quick.

Cons:

Parking can be hard to find in the area. Once they come out and check the car they give you directions to park it in the lot, but trying to find parking on the street when you arrive is hard.

The car was nice, staff were friendly

Cons:

The tank showed full, but only barely. Two miles further it was below 'full'. Which means that whoever returned it didn't do a good job filling up, nor did the garage pick up on it

Nothing, was not able to pick up the car, under the pretext that i need to present an international dtiving license, which was never the case in my previous renting from europcar and also ftom the other company i rented from this week instead of europcar .
