A very good popular 4* hotel close to Kruger park. The Winkler has an outdoor swimming pool in a breathtaking setting surrounded by tall trees and forest, tennis court, a bar with a seperate lounge and meetig facilities. Game drives can be organised from the hotel. (AHJ 05/09) The hotel is split into two buildings. One is an apartment style 2 storey block and the other is a round rondavel style building painted white with a 'boma' style roof which is common in the area. Situated close to Whiteriver and just 14 km's from Mpumulanga airport, the Winkler is a short drive to the Kruger National Park and is an excellent place to stay for those wanting to explore the many attractions of the surrounding area as well as kruger.
