The room was shoddy at best,way overdue for a remodel. The wall paper in the bathroom was peeling off the walls. The chest of drawers looked like it was from the Salvation Army....

Pros (+) Location was convenient.
Cons (-) We requested and paid for a non-smoking Premium room but got a Deluxe, smoking room and would not be accomodated for a change. Because we booked through Expedia, we were told to take it up with Expedia. They were unhelpful and rude. The room was dirty (stuff on walls and headboard) and smelled of smoke.

Pros (+) We went to a concert at Harvey’s location and we figured the most convenient place to stay is at the concert venue.
Cons (-) They put us in the mountain wing which is completely dated, small, old, dirty and not well-maintained, not what you expect for over $200 a night. In fact we were so disgusted that we decided not to even stay and just drive the 2 hours home.

Pros (+) I do a lot of skiing and it's right next to the gondola
Cons (-) Room service did not clean the bathroom nor did they vacuum. Basically all they did was make our bed. I generally leave them a nice tip, this time I felt they owed me money. Upon leaving I noticed the hallways were also very dirty. This was Harvey's South Lake Tahoe, I will not be back there.
