No internet,,, room not cleaned properly ,,, non smoking room had cigarete butts piled up on outside window sill,,,shower did not work propoerly ,, mattress old and saggy , crappy decor and as with many 2-3 star London Hotels the rooms are small. Tried to get use of an iron and ironing board, however only had one set to loan out for the whole hotel, and could not track it down for me.

Given a triple room instead of quad even though four people were listed on booking. Had to squeeze in an extra bed (which wasn't working properly) making for wall to wall beds in a miniscule room with a dirty bathroom. Night staff was pleasant and said they'd rectify mistake by moving us to larger room but morning staff was very rude and said they wouldn't move us and we were lucky not to be charged for the extra bed. At that point we grinned and beared it and made an adventure out of it. Convenient area but much better choices than this place.

Nice hotel in a very quiet place and so close to the Kensington Gardens - It was pleasant to walk from the hotel through the Kensington Gardens to the Hide Park and then to the Buckingham Palace! So everything was quite normal, but the room was so extremly small!!

I booked this hotel from the airport after my flight was cancelled and I needed a room. The front desk clerk was surly, the hotel generally run down, and my room was tiny with only a push-button-lock on the door, no deadbolt, chain or peephole. The bathroom was tiny, TV barely operating, neighborhood not exactly the best. As I mentioned above had to leave key at front desk when leaving, not exactly what I am used to. The room was as clean as it could be considering - stained carpeting, banged up furniture, bed sagging so bad it was hard to get out of. Linens were clean but obviously years past replacement date. When I checked out the next morning and asked if they could call me a taxi I was told a price that was twice what I paid to get there. Overall, spend the extra few bucks and get a decent place.
