Thistle Hyde Park dates from Victorian times, with a cosy, relaxed atmosphere reminiscent of a Pall Mall private-member’s club. A refined, intimate building, it is a comfortable base from which to enjoy the nearby West End, Oxford Street and Mayfair.
Thistle Hotel Hyde Park is one of the few Victorian hotels in London that has maintained its unique traditional presence and features within the Bayswater area. We have been proud to retain the refined features of this intimate building, with the old and the new blending seamlessly in our 54 bedrooms.
The same intimacy extends to our conference facilities. London is full of soulless venues; here, we have three elegant, comfortable meeting rooms. With superb views over Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens, we’re also a very popular wedding and party venue. London is not much fun in a car, but we have limited on-site car parking available at an additional charge. Not that you really need a car anyway; many of the best things to do in London – the West End’s theatres, Oxford Street and Mayfair - are all within walking distance.
