Victorian property with mature gardens, close to shops, restaurant, pub etc. The house has wireless internet connection in all rooms, and there is also a computer for guest use. All rooms have ensuite facilities and tv. There is a guest kitchen where snacks or even full meals can be prepared. Guests have use of the garden, patio and barbecue facilities. A separate tv lounge is also available. Many of our guests refer to Arkle House as a home from home, and that's the feeling you get as you drive in, even before you get inside. The house is absolutely bursting with character and charm. The dining room and tv lounge have original fire places dating back to circa 1890. The old bathroom has a Victorian roll top bath dated 1903, and there are many more charming features.We are ideally located about 5 minutes drive from Derry city centre 25 to 30 minutes from City of Derry airport, close to the university and Templemore sports complex .Donegal, the Inishowen peninsula and the Giant's Causeway are easy driving distances.
