The staff was friendly just understaffed not enough help. Your employee had to attempt to clean cars, rent cars, fill cars with gas at another location. How can hertz justify one employee to do all those jobs and not be able to attend to customers in a timely manner. The car had just returned from Florida wasn’t cleaned to covid standards. There was dry dirt prints on the seats from a dog being in the vehicle. Wasn’t wiped down properly. If you have covid standards then they are not being met! This employee is doing the best he can with all these jobs and hats put on him. I don’t fault your employee I fault hertz corporate rent a car for the sub standards. I don’t know about the higher ups but when I spend $353.00 of my money to rent your car I expect a clean car the outside had bug kill in the hood and windshield. I am disappointed in this transaction and hope you take this into account how you handle your rental business in the future!Cons:

Pros:
The pickup experience was shockingly poor. The vehicle size I rented was not available after getting a Lyft ride to get to the rental agency. I was told that I should have arrived at 8am if I wanted to get the car I reserved. Instead I was forced to accept a much smaller vehicle which was not going to carry the items I needed to transport. The attendant was kind, but my frustration was high.Cons:
Clear communication! I created the rental reservation the day before with the same attendant I picked up the vehicle from. He failed to inform me that I needed to arrive when the Enterprise opened in the morning or else risk not getting a vehicle in the class I needed. The only silver lining was paying less than I expected.10.0 Wonderful

I reserved a car online at one of 3 area Enterprise locations. They did not have a car. Neither did the other Enterprise locations I reserved a car with online. Two places did not call me to inform me they did not have a car. If you can reserve it online, there should be a car available. What is this, an airline??2.0 Poor

The staff was rude, and gave us a minivan instead of a sedan. We had to wait outside on the pavement with our luggage while he vacuumed the van, as it hadn't been cleaned yet. Still filthy once we got in, dog hair and gunk everywhere. No apologies about the inconvenience.Budget

We reserved a car with Budget through Hotwire & Kayak. When we arrived at the location in Longmont--after paying for a Lyft ride all the way from Denver, and after wasting several hours, as it turns out--I was brusquely informed by the frazzled "agent" that there were no cars, that Hotwire/Kayak should not have posted the availability, and that we were out of luck. She, of course, insisted that Budget was not responsible (although they are the ones who released the car availability onto the websites), and offered no help at all. Upon calling Hotwire, the agent (and the supervisor) spoke terrible, barely understandable English, but through the "language barrier," they of course insisted that Budget was to blame, and that Hotwire bore no responsibility. I will NEVER USE BUDGET OR HOTWIRE AGAIN-- and I USED to be a Budget Fastbreak member!5.2 Fair
