From South Milan and Linate Airport, highway A7 to Genoa. After Tortona, take A21 Turin-Piacenza towards Turin and exit at West Alessandria. From Trieste-Venice-Padua, the highway A4 Turin-Trieste ends at Brescia; however, the highway A21 to Piacenza-Alessandria-Turin exits at West Alessandria. From Bologna, highway A1 ends at Piacenza; however, the highway A21 to Piacenza-Alessandria-Turin, goes towards West Alessandria. From Florence, Genoa and Genoa airports, highway A11 ends at Genoa; however, follow the directions for Alessandria-Milan and take highway A26. Exit at West Alessandria. From Turin and Turin airport, highway A21 to Alessandria-Piacenza exits at West Alessandria. From West Alessandria, follow the signs for Casale-Vercelli, get on SS 31 and, after about 1km, head towards Castelletto Monferrato-San Salvatore and, in the town, on the left, you will find the signs for Lu.
