This is the place to stay to celebrate, reconnect, relax and enjoy. The Watts House has been lovingly restored to its original grandeur by the innkeepers from 2003-2007. After the Civil War RT Watts, a hardware store owner built his home in what is now the historic district known as Daniels Hill. Today, guests can enjoy the same bath tubs, a couple of the same bathroom sinks, many of the original light fixtures, mantels, moldings and much more that were installed when the home was built for RT and his family. Very little has been changed in this home due to the nature of its construction, i., both the interior and exterior walls are three courses of brick thick. This is why when you visit The Carriage House Inn you experience the past as if it was yesterday.
