Celebrating a spectacular first year, City of Dreams presents The Art of the City collection at Crown Towers, highlighting the excitement and vibrancy of Asia and in particular, Macau. This gorgeous exhibit offers the very best of contemporary artists from Asia and beyond including The Grace Peony by James Wong from Macau. The inspiring 'walk of art' begins with Australian artist Marion Brogelts Liquid Light: 56 Degrees in the hotel lobby. The golden waves of the painting undulate and evolve as the viewer walks by, demonstrating the fascinating relationship between light and perception. On Level 2 are Hong Kong ceramic sculptor Jackie Leung Knit Vase and Modern Chinese Bronze Ware which bring China ancient tradition into the future. On Level 3, Japanese sculptor Hirotoshi Sawada contributes the dazzling piece of installation art, Reflect, which seems to transform from a dragon to a flower and anything the heart desires, while captivating the viewer with shimmering colours at the same time.
