There are two lovely brooks - Mellow Brook and Harrop Brook, which are visited by a great variety of wildlife, and there is a huge diversity of bird life to be seen around the farm.Harrop Fold Farm is a smallholding nestling in a wooded gritstone valley on the western side of the Peak District National Park and has magnificent views over the Cheshire Plain to the Welsh Mountains. It has a courtyard of attractive traditional stone buildings that are of architectural and archaeological interest and there is evidence of a Roman road passing through.
