Worst hotel I've ever stayed at
Excellent location and very originally nice hotel architecture. Gorgeous stairs
The hotel overall full scope maintenance is very poor, looking then at Britannia as a big missed opportunity. Ideal target for "Hotel Impossible" next episode
The dated feel to the hotel, the lack of light in my room (457) The room smelt fusty, the carpets and walls were stained, the breakfast was of very poor quality. The lifts are not very practical.
Loverly hotel, made feel very welcome,
Heating in room too hot unable to turn down. Inform staff did give us a fan in mins but still mafting. We went into the jenny's about 6.00pm for a cavery. The food came out of the kitchen was cold,we informed staff.
The great staff.excellent breakfast,very central
what small faults in room were corrected very quickly,
The rooms and facilities has been redone and are very clean and pleasant although the hotel kept his charming XIX century style.
A bit crowded best value for money downtown
Ideal location, relaxing, convenient.Staff very effective at evicting drunken guests who were being abusive-most impressed
I wasnt that bothered ,as it turned out to be cheaper, but my room specification was changed and I was only informed at check in,which I guess might irritate some people
I was unable to get in to my room even after trying two differentkeys. The porter had to let me in every time. He told me this happens all the time and that some doors never work.
