Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Pillows were comfy.
Lumpy bed & unclean bathroom.
No heat in pool-very cold in November! Service was poor. There was spots of fresh (red) blood on pillow case. Asked twice for replacement. Finally went to desk at bedtime to get it.
Thought the room was very nice and extremely clean!
Didn't know how to use thermostat, and when we did it didn't warm up to set temp, and we were cold through the night.
They had a nice breakfast in the morning and all of the staff was very pleasant
Did not care for the bathroom. There wasn't any kind of vanity top to put your things. Also the shower could of been better.
It was clean.
Lots of broken stuff: heater smelled so bad it wasn't useable, shower plumbing gushing water where it shouldn't, huge gap around entire door letting in tons of light and noise, mattress was so worn body imprints visible through bedding. With the other hotels available in Manhattan, I would avoid staying in this hotel again. It was clean enough to be comfortable but that is the only thing I can say it had going for it.
The desk clerk changed us from one queen bed to a king bed.
The carpet must have been cleaned prior to them giving me this room. We walked on wet carpet all night.
Clean, roomy, overall very nice room
Check in was not pleasant. Clerk was not helpful with checkin through a Priceline reservation.Check in was a bad experience. The clerk mentioned how I should never use Priceline again because it interferes with their ability to get me checked in properly, and to call in a reservation early with them directly for any future stays. She forced me to charge my debit card to pay for the room a second time at the more expensive rate than what I found through Priceline, and then the charge wasn't refunded until I called Priceline support.
Great accommodations and excellent staff. We had a great two day stay at the Best Western in Manhattan. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful (we had a sick two year old one night). The breakfast was very good, facilities were very clean and the kiddos enjoyed the indoor heated pool. We'd definitely stay again.
They offered the guests freshly brewed ice tea upon arrival.
The heating/ air conditioning in the room did not work no matter what, so I had to sleep in shirts and sweatshirts and of course the shower the next morning was freezing because of the coldness of the room.
The girl working the front desk (Kaitlyn I think) was very nice and very helpful. The cleaning staff was also very friendly. Room was clean.
