Pros:Convenient location within easy walking distance of our points of interest. The staff was very nice and breakfast was pretty good.
Cons:Bed was very hard and the pillows flat as paper. The shower had very low pressure and difficult to use. The worst part, though was the noise. The street is very busy and the room we had wis directly above a restaurant next door. We could hear people in the restaurant and then loud banging and clashing of dishes being washed late into the night. This was on top of the traffic noise from motorcycles and cars racing down the street from early in the morning to late at night. Also, they had ‘changed to heat’ so there was no air conditioning in the building. The only way to coo off the room was to open the window but then had to close it at night to at least reduce the noise to be able to sleep. A room on the back side of the hotel would probably be very nice but this was difficult to put up with. Also strange you have to leave your room key at the front desk when you leave but there is no safe in the room. It made me a little uncomfortable but we never had a problem.
Pros:Friendly staff ... So close to Duomo and is located in heart of town ... the room and the facilities were very clean ... It has a great character and represents the real life style of Milano ... Also good breakfast, great coffee :) ... Easy check in, easy check out, no hidden fees or surprises! Loved it! Thank you hotel Vecchia Milano :) I will definitely recommend this place to any of my friends/family who would want to travel there ...
