10.0 Wonderful
Pros:The staff at the hotel were amazingly friendly, helpful, and seemed to truly care if we enjoyed our stay. A gentlemen name Lamont, allowed my 7 year old niece and I enjoy the pool an extra half hour after closing time. Most staff got to know my niece and I were staying there for a few days just the two of us while her parent worked, they live in Milwaukee and I was visiting from Colorado. A nice gal at the front even asked about our Geocache searches etc. Food was fabulous as well!
Cons:I really wouldn't change anything it was right on!

Pros:The rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and the shuttle service was easy to use.

Pros:The room set up was nice the bed and pillows very comfy. The bathroom was nice and clean. Hotel adequate for quick 1 night stay in an emergency.
Cons:Hotel is not downtown as claimed. Riverfront view deceiving per website pictures. The pool was 3.9 ft and staff I asked didn't even know they had a pool. Fitness room not open. Room trash can was not emptied. Only saw one staff member explain amenities hotel had to offer. When asked about hotel amenities was instructed its was a brochure in room this was not the case. No microwaves in room or hotel period. Even for a sale price of $100 a night not worth the stay should have been a $60 a night rate. Will not stay again pictures and description of hotel not accurate. Look elsewhere if you want to swim, be in the actual downtown area, warm up food and knowledgeable staff.

Pros:The hotel is being renovated and you were forced to walk through the area bring worked on and the only ones without Hard hats were the guests.
Cons:Having to walk through a construction zone is dangerously. The hotel should have been shut down during this portion of the renovation

Cons:Major major renovations. Initially thought it was closed. Could not find the lobby easily. Restaurant closed. Construction started early; luckily I was already awake and ends late. Had to walk through construction site. Guy with propane torch on ladder right above my head as I was leaving. The construction job would have been shut down if in Califiornia. Hotel should be shut down or they should give out construction helmets to guests.

Pros:The view from my room was spectacular due to all the fall colors along the river and from the Anchorage for dinner. The bed was fantastic, and on par with a Hilton regular traveler, so it was nice to see this location has kept those amazing beds. Hopefully their renovations don't change that. I had a King room, and it was spacious. The restroom is the only part that needed true attention. The hallway noise is notable, and the walls are typical of most places in that you can hear most noises above a conversation level. The facility is undergoing a major renovation, and I was privvy to enjoy one of the last meals available from the Anchorage. My waiter/bartender Brian was FANTASTIC and a wealth of information for local attractions and the man truly knows his alcohol...I'll probably return there after the renovations are completed just to see what they did with removing the beautiful fish tank and that amazing brass bar rail with the elephants. I felt the room charge was okay, and fully expect it will be more when I return. Hopefully the renovations will make it worth it and that Brian will still be working there for dinner/bar service! Great location...

Pros:Although the hotel is under renovation, the guest rooms on three of the floors were not affected. I thought the room was clean and comfortable, and there was ample parking. I would stay there again.

Pros:Room was clean and hotel was generally quiet.
Cons:Claimed that a data entry or data transmission error from Kayak or Booking.com caused the loss of our reservation. It took more than 15 minutes to find and correct the error while we waited. The entire first floor is under construction, including entryway, lobby and hallways. Patio was closed except for lunch and dinner.
