Location is perfect. Staff are great, very helpful and friendly. The room was nice, comfortable, and clean.
The warm water pressure in bathroom was not good. I hardly could take a shower. It is a great place to stay, considering all important criteria, like location, staff, price, amenities, comfort and so on.
People were all very friendly, entrance area was beautiful, with a grand, wooden staircase.
The only issue was that the walls were a little thin--I've stayed in hotels with thinner walls, though, and this wasn't terrible. Turning on the fan drowned out almost all sound!I'd definitely stay here again! It was lovely for the price.
Price, location, pretty large room
Cigarette smell, promised fridge but one of our room didn't have it, and v old buildingI've read some bad reviews before the trip, so I didn't have much expectation. I've booked two non-smoking rooms with fridge but one of the rooms didn't have a fridge. Luckily we could still put our stuff into the one we had, otherwise, it would be a hassle. The building is v old and the whole lodge needs complete renovation. But if they do that, it won't be in that price range. Btw, the bath towels were cleaner than what's described in some reviews. The breakfast was pretty good, ie nice bagels. I think the owner is doing hard to upgrade the conditions as all the rooms got new mattresses during our stay. While I appreciate their effort, I actually prefer the old mattress more as it was firmer. Anyway, i think with the price in mind, I'm okay with what I got. Will still come back if it's still the cheapest in town next year ¿¿
It was convenient on our tripContinental breakfast room was horrible. Too small, not much food not very appetizing,
leaving the premises
most everythingdo not stay there unless you are desperate
Place to park. Wi-Fi. Cable. For the price of the room, was excellent.
No. It was an excellent stay
There wasn't anything I liked about this hotel.
It was dirty, facuet broken, staff not helpful. We booked for 3 adults but was told we could only have enough coffee for 2 cups in our room. Felt unsafe, no security measures.I am surprised Priceline would even be affiliated with this hotel. My sister booked a room my husband couldn't even walk into their room since the mold bothered his allergies so badly. You could see the model on the floor near the A/C unit. In our room, the half faucet in the bathroom was not attached. There wasn't enough coffee and when we went to the front desk, the woman said we could only have enough for 2 cups of coffee and that was out limit, although we booked for 3 adults. The downstairs hallway was so hot, I thought I would pass out when we walked in. The downstairs A/C units were in the hallway which generated a lot of the heat, on top of it being about 80+ degrees outside. The hallway in the stairwell was cra...
The manager went out of his way to make me feel comfortable and helped select an upgrade room for me. He was great.
It was the age of the facility that lacked aesthetic appeal. Some well placed art or plants might help. It appeared too empty and sterile.
It was convenient to NECI which is the reason why we came to Vermont. It was also near other tourist attractions which we visited while we were there.
The room was too small. The first thing we noticed was how small the room was! We had booked a room with two queen beds so there wasn't much room for anything else. The bathroom was also extremely small. It was, however, conveneint to the main attractions in Vermont. We came to visit the New England Culinary Institute and it was only minutes away. We figured since we weren't going to be spending much time in the hotel room anyway, why spend a lot of money? There weren't many other guests there so it was quiet and we were not disturbed.
