Pros (+) I booked online, there was no pet fee listed, called them after I booked only to find out they take advantage of dog owners by charging 54.00 per pet per night!!! Then when I called them to cancel they made me go back online to cancel only to find out once booked the stay is NON REFUNDABLE! What a scam this place is running! Pros (+) The location is great and Mt. Dora is a great town with cute boutiques, good food and nice people. The facility is in a great location and looks beautiful from a distance, perched alongside the lake with grassy areas, a pool and a dock. The staff was very friendly and the location cannot be beat.
Cons (-) The room was extremely musty with old carpeting that was rippled in a number of places. We had to keep the AC running on high the entire time to keep the smell at bay and to keep are belongings from getting that dewy moist. I'm not kidding - when we first walked in the room even my 10 year old noticed that the beds and towels were "wet." The beds were decent, but the pillows were old and each doub...
