The first room we entered did not have a TV that worked, nor did it have a phone to allow us to call the front desk. The tub did not drain either. When we pulled the table between the beds to make sure the phone was plugged in, we discovered an ungodly amount of dust build up. The interior of the whole place needs a complete overhaul. I had to walk to the front desk to complain about the situation...

Pros (+) Our room was updated and well-appointed. We were very impressed with the accommodations, given that this is a 2-star hotel. The pool was lovely- large, not crowded, and with depths from 3-9 feet. Our room was generally very clean, with a few small exceptions. Lobby coffee in the morning was tasty! I would absolutely stay here again.
Cons (-) There were a few minor (and I mean minor) issues with cleanliness in the room- a tiny bit of mold around the edge of the shower caulk, the corners of our room could have used a quick vacuum (we have a one year old who loves to hide in small places).

Pros (+) Wasn’t sure what to expect upon arrival but it surpassed my expectations. Spacious rooms, small balcony, pool and right across the street from attractions. Staff was very friendly. I look forward to future stays.

Pros (+) Good size room in a great location, easy access to Old Mistick village, the Aquarium, Seaport. Friendly's and Mystic Diner on site, a gas station and convenience store with a Dunkin's and Domino's and then a McDonalds right up the street.
Cons (-) The air conditioner blew right on me in bed which was very annoying.
