Warm ocean breezes, sun filled days, and gorgeous beaches are usually all it takes to entice a person to travel. Fiji is paradise, travelers simply needn't look further for an island location that offers pristine beaches, warm temperatures, plenty of sun, and friendly locals. Winter months (opposite of the U.S. in Fiji so from April to October) are warm and dry while summer months (November through March) are hotter and slightly more humid. In the summer months, rain is more of an issue, but throughout the year average highs are in the 80s.
Nadi is Fiji's third largest town. Located on Viti Levu Island (Fiji is actually formed from a combination of different islands and island groups) ten miles from Fiji's Midway Nadi Airport, Nadi is in close proximity to the international airport, extravagant shopping, and beaches. Additionally, Nadi is also close to the rivers, mountains, and elaborate temples. Nadi offers many resorts and smaller hotels, attractions galore, and a tranquil atmosphere that has many tourists wishing they could spend a lifetime instead of a couple weeks.
