From the outside this hotel looks stylish, but on entering the first view is of a very large red coke machine! Our room was spacious with a small lounge area and a partly covered balcony which was very dirty especially the paintwork which hadn't been cleaned for a long time.As we were only there for one night we let it go.

The hotel is in a great location - directly across the street from the ocean - the extra cost for a full water view room was well worth it. There was a balcony, indoor sitting room, microwave and fridge. The hotel itself is somewhat dated but it was clean and affordable given the location. I plan to go back.

We got what we paid for and probably a little more. The location is excellent! Within walking distance to restaurants, shops and beach. The room was large with a separate area with a couch, coffee table, micro and fridge. The balcony was very small but adequate. The hotel is very old and could use a little tlc and the housekeeping was o.k. Will definitely go back next year. The reviews made me very skeptical about staying there but I am glad we gave it a shot! My friends that visited us all want to book for next year too!

The location of the hotel is great. One night we had the suite with ocean view. That was fine. The next night we had a room out back which was not the greatest, but for one night we didn't care because Narragansett is an enjoyable seaside town. I will try to book a suite if I go again. The pool and gym are a five minute walk to the sister hotel and these facilities weren't the greatest either. Atlantic house is on a boulevard so you can do you can walk or jog there. O verall, the stay was fine and the rate was less than I had expected so I have no complaints.

THe Atlantic was once state of the art. Today it is somewhat shabby. Its brochure, for instance, depicts a pool. The pool is actually two blocks away at a sister hotel, the Village. The pool is in a screened room. Half the screens are torn or falling off. This is hardly the kind of thing you can't notice if you own the place. The overall condition of the Atlantic also reflects this indifference.
