Pros:the staff was polite professional and helpful at check in
Cons:We booked this hotel because we had a 5 am flight from the airport the following morning, and wanted to be nearby. As soon as we arrived we knew we had made a mistake - we are 2 business travelers, and stay in hundreds of hotels every year - I've never thought I should leave one before. I should have listened to my intuition - i'll never make that mistake again. When we pulled into the driveway, it was clear we were not in a good place. There were two men sitting in a car next to us that rolled up their windows - my fellow consultant believed they were smoking crack. Why didn't we leave then? I don't know. I've never thought I had a lot of 'street smarts' so I asked my colleague what he thought - he thought we would be safe - so we stayed (we were safe by the way). When I got to my room, it slowly sank in how bad it was - i took my shoes off - only to discover it turned my socks black, the floor was so dirty. I never sleep with the comforter on a hotel bed (they're not washed frequently anywhere) but when I pulled back the sheet, i found a few pieces of glitter.... As in glitter that had been on another person. As in, the sheets had not been washed either. The pillows.....well the pillows didn't have any pillow covers. SO UNSANITARY!!!! So i couldn't use them. I ended up half sleeping, on a stripped bed, with only a bottom sheet, using a folded bath towel as a pillow, and sleeping underneath the scarf I travel with to use on planes in case it is cold. I had set my alarm for 4:15 am, but at 3 am I couldn't take it any more. I called my colleague - I knew he would be awake - and said let's get the hell out of here. Sitting in an emplty airport at 4 am was much more enjoyable than having to stay in this hotel for even 1 more minute. My colleague told me he was crazy enough to shower there and felt like he was dirtier afterwards. Do not stay here. DO NOT STAY HERE. Some extended stay places are great - they are for families looking for an inexpensive vacation option. Some extended stay places function as flop houses, or as halfway houses for people who are struggling through life challenges. This place was the second kind of extended stay place. Not a place any traveling family or business traveler should stay. We should have left and lost money, but stayed in a decent spot. No money is worth risking your health and life in that awful place.
Pros:The price was definitely right, and the staff was very friendly.
Cons:The room had hard flooring that was cold, and the lighting in the room was all overhead, forcing me to walk through the dark to my bed. The clientele was boisterous. There was no lounge area.
