The location was what brought us here. Stayed after a Bethel Woods concert and before we needed to be to Troy, NY.

Entry way was dark and unmarked. We arrived at night. The parking lot is not lit. We went to what we thought was registration because the door was wide open and that turned out to be a hallway with rooms. The next door was a hallway. It was the third.

I had read reviews that said it was 'creepy'. That describes it. Long hallways with no people. Had printed sign that toilet may clog and to call front desk for it. Sure enough that happened.

A lot of space. It was CLEAN.

It did not have the warm welcoming feeling. The stairwell halls were creepy, moldy, dimly lit and walls were filthy. Our room had limited furniture or any real ambiance- so BASIC - just large space with basics. It felt like a large, clean motel.

Boring, Lonely, Creepy- but clean. Very clean. Dimly lit. SAD FEELING. The little staff were professional- but it felt as if they were not too excited to be there. But Clean. As hospitality goes, it didn't feel like a home away from home. It felt like I was intruding in someone else's home that couldn't wait for me to leave. They were trying to pitch a WELLNESS angle but it didn't feel at all wellness driven. They had facilities but no personnel to man them- it felt like walking into an empty airport. I can't pinpoint one thing because there were too many little things that made a FEELING... but as a resort, it was DEPRESSING.

everyone treating me exceptional well. The swimming pool, staff, lake, room, grounds was like being in a fantastic dream in my life. It was a true getaway and I loved every minute.

There appeared a snake in the woods but the staff assured me it was harmless

Upon arrival I was greeted with a extremely nice and friendly women when I signed in. Everything was cleam and orderly. She gave me directions on many things to do and see in Kingston. I had a wonderful time. The owner and everyone of the staff treated me royally and I thought I went to heaven.

off the beaten track and completely beautiful nature setting. No frills room was clean and tidy. Pool was sparkling clear and staff was welcoming. Beautiful grounds and gazebos and stocked pond. Peaceful and quiet.

no internet access to check out local attractions and directions. The wifi was secured and only one bar of strength in our room.

I booked this hotel for proximity to a work event, and because it looked like it would have more character than a chain.

Their communication with me was very misleading.

After booking, they emailed to say that there was a street festival that weekend that would limit parking by the hotel. I wrote saying I would be tired from my work event, and would the festival be over by my expected arrival on Sunday night? They said yes, it would. Sure enough, when I arrived the festival was still going on. I could not reach the hotel. I called, and they didn't answer (because of the festival, the recording said). I waited an hour at a filling station. They didn't call back. I asked a policeman when the street would reopen, as there was no other way to reach the hotel. I was told two hours at the earliest. I live a four hour drive away. I called the hotel again, got their desk guy, and informed him that I needed them to cancel my reservation and refund my money,...

Easy to find location with plenty of nearby places to eat.

Bad smelling, hot room with non-working air conditioner and very questionable people lingering outside rooms. Very dangerous looking place that seems to attract the worst people from town.

Place is not worth the price listed and anyone paying before seeing this place will feel taken advantage of.

The staff at the front desk was exceptionally rude when we checked in. The rooms are dated and unclean - our shower had black mold on the ceiling. While the campiness of the "holidome" (an inside pool and arcade located in the middle of the hotel that looks like it dates back to the fifties) was amusing, it did not make for the best view outside of our hotel window. Many of the rooms, like ours, had a view of the inside "dome"/courtyard and absolutely no natural light. The hotel was under renovation, which meant much of it was unusable and the parking lot had a pile of old toilets and dressers (like the furnishings still in our room) in the corner. Absolutely ridiculous that this place is $200/night - we would have been better off staying at the SuperLodge down the street. Then at least we'd only be paying $70/night for what I can assume is the same quality of stay.

The ice machine was decent. The desk staff was helpful.

The rate of--- a night is ridiculous. Worth--- a night, if that. The room carpet was DISGUSTINGLY filthy. The whole place is outdated and worn. Water dripping from the the room above, out of the heat lamp in our bathroom. Keycard very finicky.

This place is a dump and they have some set of stones charging--- a night. It is being renovated, but nothing has been completed that would benefit a guest in any manner. The Bar/Restauraunt is a joke. The bar doesn't even have running water and seats five. One of those prefab units you MIGHT put in your basement. Restaurant also pathetic, looks like a rec room in an old folks home from the 70's. Ordered room service. The turn time was quick, but the food was regrettable. Pet friendly and it shows. There may even be people actually living here. Seems like a welfare hotel. A relative also staying there was admonished for smoking too close to the building!...

Location was convenient right off the thruway.

Very old building and in bad condition. Room toilet wouldn't flush first night we were there and front desk guy 'fixed' by lifting flapper and we had to fix toilet ourselves after that. Room smelled like smoke and lots of mystery stains on bedspreads.

A lot of money for a rough condition motel. Breakfast was ok and front desk people were friendly but you can do better by staying at another motel.

Finally a decent hotel breakfast. Real oj and decent bagels . I really liked the oatmeal and there was always good coffee and hot chocolate available. Fireplace in the dining area made it quite pleasant.

Nothing

All around pleasant ,clean and friendly atmosphere. It was not in the most scenic spot. It's a commercial area but plenty close to the lovely mountains.

Extremely nice staff

I picked the hotel because it had an indoor pool. it was not heated and it was so cold I couldn't go in past the steps. My daughter did better, but after ten minutes her lips were purple.

The lobby was absolutely beautiful!

Yes - The wall mounted hair dryers are AWFUL. For 3-stars, and such a nice hotel, I would expect actual, stand alone hair dryers.

Only stayed one night on business, no real complaints. The lobby is beautiful, and the rooms were nice, bed comfortable. My only disappointment was that the bathroom had only a mini, wall-mounted hair dryer. For a three-star hotel, I would expect to have an actual stand alone, regular sized hair dryer! Its a basic amenity that I love to have in a hotel, while travelling on business!

Prices are average price per night of stay and may not include taxes and fees. "Total" includes our estimate of the taxes and fees. Please verify the total cost on the provider's site before you complete your reservation. Prices and availability are not guaranteed.

Here's why:

We’re not the seller
At KAYAK we don’t set prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.

We aggregate tonnes of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we don't guarantee prices we find.

Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car hires can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find on occasion that certain prices are no longer available.
