Unfortunately, after her death the inn fell into disrepair.In 1975, after only 15 minutes of looking at the property, Melvyn Haber, current owner, and a celebrity in his own right, purchased the inn. After spending a small fortune restoring the inn, he reopened its doors to all guests, famous and not so famous.
