Pros:The room was nice and clean on the first day, the hotel was close to the beach.
Cons:There were a lot of extras and stipulations added into a contract that was emailed to me after I competed my booking on kayak. There was no room service, despite paying a $260 cleaning fee, also the contract stipulated that we had to clean the room ourselves before we left it (even though we payed a $260 cleaning fee). The listing said beach front but unless you get a 2 bedroom condo or above you end up across the street from the beach. The front desk staff was slow and didn't seem to know what was going on. They have 2 front desks and you have to check in at the main one and pay for your room then check in at a second one and pay for a parking pass, check in was a mess. The front desk is only open a few hours a day (I think 4pm-8pm) if you try to check in outside of those hours you have to wait till the next day. The hotel issues all the guests a wristband that your expected to wear during your whole stay to use the facility's, the wrist bad is not removable so if you plan on having a nice dinner or dressing nicely know that your gonna have to have a bright red hospital style paper and plastic bracelet that advertises "grand panama resort" on your wrist wherever you go. They would have to do considerable changes for me to return.
