While Park City is no longer a silver-filled miner's dream, the town is indeed full of gems. Whether you come in the summer or the winter, you'll find a ton to do in this affluent resort town. In addition to housing three major ski resorts, Park City also hosts the annual Sundance Film Festival and offers a wide variety of seasonal and year-round activities. In the winter, visitors flock to the slopes and beyond to enjoy pastimes like hot-air ballooning, skiing, tubing, snow-shoeing and fly-fishing. Even Olympic athletes know Park City is the premiere spot for snowboarding the 2002 events were held here. Take some time to explore historic Main Street which houses a collection of shops and galleries. Shop like the stars and you just might see one, whether its Sundance week or not.
