Pros:Pool and clean rooms
Cons:Non refundable booking , then holding additional room charge hostage from me to use for over a week after when I booked room i paid 100percent non refundable bill. Won't book something I can not cancel again shame on kayack....raquet
Pros:Staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice and clean. Coffee was available all day long in the lobby. Nice lounge area in the lobby. Overall, a pleasant stay
Cons:The doors to the rooms were extremely heavy. I know this seems insignificant, but they were very hard to open long enough to walk through with your bags, even with someone helping you. Also, my first room smelled like cigarette smoke when I entered. They quickly reassigned my room to fix this issue, though. Also, there is no bar or room service that is available at this hotel. I am not sure that I have ever stayed at a hampton inn without a bar area.
Pros:Actually, the premises were fine. The ROOM that I was given, although it was not the SUITE that I booked was comfortable and clean. No issues there. Parking was a little tight and you has to gain familiarity with the roadways in the area so as to not miss the exit even though the hotel itself was right long the major roadway.
Cons:I did not line the fact that I didn't receive the SUITE that I booked. Upon arrival at 3:30 pm, I was told that my room was not ready! I accepted that and informed them that I was in a softball trip and I probably wouldn't get back to the room until after 11 pm that night. I partially checked in but was not allowed to look at my proposed assigned room. They assured me that it would be ok to check in fully when I came back that night. So I had to change into my uniform in the downstairs hotel bath room. Well, I'm not one to cause a problem so I rolled with that. After coming back that night, I was given a key to a room and when I opened the door, I saw just a regular room with double queen beds. NOT WHAT NOOKED!!! I casually went back to the front desk and notified the attendant ( she stated that it was her first night alone at the hotel). She seemingly did her best to see what had happened but could not figure it out. She made a call and was told to just let me stay in that room and they would settle the issue in the morning. K, I'm tired from playing, and there is a bed in room, do I just say that's fine. Well, I attempt to access the free internet and I can't get on. So, an hour or so later, I go back downstairs and there is a different attendant at the desk. I tell him my room number and name and he states "you're not in that room and nor are you in our system". Well ok!!! He investigates further and finds that I was given the wrong room and I was not checked in properly, therefore, I didn't exist in the system. Furthermore, because I'm not in the system, I can't get onto the internet. BUMMER!!! So he proceeded to say that my SUITE was assigned to someone else and there would be no available SUITE for me that weekend, sorry!!! BUMMER!!! But I'm here with a room yet stuck, so I see that as a positive at least! Later that morning, @9am, I stroll through and I'm told that I'm now in the system and I'm free to use the internet, I'll only be charged for a regular room, and that they are sorry. Not the best stay based upon that but I hold no grudge. Stuff happens!!!
Pros:Clean , comfortable and decent breakfast surrounded by the most bleak area I've visited.
