If you prefer, explore the tidepools on our beach at low tide, hunt for agates and wishing rocks or launch your kayak and paddle in to town.The Commander's Beach House is a Cape Cod style home built in 1934. Until 1955 it housed several commanding officers and their families that were stationed at the nearby medical facility. The Commander's Beach House has been an operational bed and breakfast for seven years and provides a relaxing escape for those who truly want to experience a home on the beach.
