Welcome to the two star superior hotel zur insel, situated in the town of werder (havel). The family-run hotel is situated on an island right in the middle of the old town, surrounded by the picturesque lakes of the havel river. It was carefully renovated in 1997 and boasts a quiet position and a splendid view of the old town and the gardens. The house offers 44 comfortable and individually arranged rooms, 16 of which are single rooms, 26 are double rooms, 1 is an apartment and 1 is a suite. The rooms are all furnished in country house or garden house style and are appointed with cable-tv, telephone, shower and wc. The different floors can be reached easily by lift. The restaurant can seat up to 120 guests in its different dining rooms. Our garden seating up to 50 guests is available for barbecues and outdoor parties in summer. Furthermore, the hotel offers nice meeting rooms for up to 60 people.
